Here we are going to interface a DC motor to Arduino UNO and its speed is controlled. This is done by PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This feature is enabled in UNO to get variable voltage over constant voltage

A Voltage Controlled Oscillator is an oscillator which produces oscillating signals (waveforms) with variable frequency. The frequency of this waveform is varied by varying the magnitude of the Input voltage.

We are building here a RGB bulb using Red, Green and Blue LEDs, we just need to add a mechanism to control the brightness or intensity of these light individually. To control the brightness, we are using PWM (Pulse width Modulation) method with 555 time IC

As the name suggest 555 timer is basically a “Timer”, which create a oscillating pulse. Means for some time output pin 3 is HIGH and for some time it remains LOW, that will create a oscillating output.

A potential divider circuit is a very common circuit used in electronics where an input voltage has to be converted to another voltage less than it. This circuit is very useful for all analog circuits where variable voltages are required, hence it is important to understand how this circuit works and how to calculate the values of Resistors.

Darkness detector is simply a LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) interfaced square wave generator. In this project the square wave generator is developed as a 555 Timer IC based ASTABLE MULTIVIBRATOR. Before going any further we must get the basic details on the LDR. The figure below shows an image of various types of LDR.

An RC Phase Shift Oscillator is an electronic oscillator circuit which produces a sine wave output. It can either be designed by using a transistor or by using an Op-amp as an inverting amplifier.

This is done by connecting the OUTPUT of each timer to the TRIGGER of the other through a diode and placing a resistor in the trigger circuit. The resistor limits the current from the opposite timers output when the trigger is closed on the stopped timer.
